Proceedings of the 8th Biennial WFC Congress and ICCR Available Now — Only From FCER Norwalk, Iowa — It’s not too late to learn from the speakers at the 8th Biennial World Federation of Chiropractic (WFC) Congress and 2005 International Conference on Chiropractic Research (ICCR)! Those who were unable to travel to Sydney, Australia in June can still get summaries of the outstanding program, all of which fell under the umbrella theme of “Above the Low-Back: A Celebration of the Art, Science and Philosophy of Chiropractic.” The 41 invited presentations represent some of the most internationally-renowned speakers in chiropractic today, including Drs. Allan G. J. Terrett, Scott Haldeman, Niels Grunnet-Nilsson, Cheryl Hawk, Ray Hayek, Gregory Kawchuk, and many more. In addition to the invited speakers, who represented the WFC Congress, the Congress Proceedings also includes the abstracts for the 140 research papers presented as the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research’s (FCER) ICCR (formerly ICSM). These abstracts include some of the strongest research in chiropractic being performed globally, with authors representing the USA, Australia, Canada, New Zealand, Great Britain, Japan, Brazil, France, Denmark, Spain, and South Africa. Because the full Proceedings contains over 400 pages of valuable material, it is impossible to successfully outline its value here. To see a complete listing of what is included in the Proceedings, please go to FCER’s website at http://www.fcer.org/Download/ICCRtoc.pdf. The Congress Proceedings is available exclusively from FCER on CD-ROM for $39 (US), plus shipping and handling. The CD contains the full book in PDF format. Reading of the CD requires the Adobe reader program, which is available as a free download at http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat/readstep2.html. To order, go online to the FCER Store, or call FCER at 800-622-6309 (toll-free) or 515-981-9888. |
