Valuable Vintage BJ Palmer Travel Book, Wildlife Print Featured in New FCER Auction

 

Several vintage chiropractic books, a new autographed textbook and wildlife print, all donated to the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER), are now available at auction to help raise funds for FCER's numerous educational programs. The auction items are posted on the online shopping site eBay. Included are:

  • 'Round the World with B.J., by B.J. Palmer. Vintage book donated by
    Dr. Greg Lillie. A first-person account of Palmer's multi-nation trips "'round the world" in 1921-22 and 1924-25. The 800-page book, published in 1926, is in fairly good condition.

  • Spears Painless System of Chiropractic and Other Developments, by
    Dr. Leo O. Spears. Vintage book donated by Dr. Greg Lillie. This 256-page textbook covers Dr. Spears's various techniques for painless treatment methods. The book, published in 1950, is in good condition.

  • Chiropractic Technic Tortipelvis, by Fred H. Barge, DC, PhC. Vintage book donated by Dr. Greg Lillie. This textbook is based on Dr. Barge's 16 years of research into the cause, correction and analysis of this acute disc lesion subluxation. This 125-page book, published in 1976, is in excellent condition.

  • Anderson's Bucks, print by Larry Anderson 2002, 226/550. Item donated by Dr. Kim Skibsted. This beautiful print is by one of America's foremost fish and wildlife artists, and depicts a herd in the middle of a grove of trees. This 13-1/2" x 9" print is from a limited edition of 550.

  • Conservative Management of Sports Injuries, Third Edition, textbook autographed by one author Thomas E. Hyde, DC. Book donated by
    Dr. Hyde. This 1,170-page textbook has enjoyed enormous success and embraces the philosophy of "active" conservative care and a multidisciplinary approach to the treatment and rehabilitation of athletic injuries.

Each of these is a wonderful cherished collectible!

So, start bidding today - these few items will only be available until May 13.

Additional items will be posted at auction in the coming weeks.
