FCER Needs Your Help for Celebrity Chiropractic Project

Norwalk, Iowa—In this day of celebrity allure, testimonials from highly recognized individuals are not uncommon.  A variety of products is touted by celebrities from various walks of life.  The American Chiropractic Association (ACA) and the Foundation for Chiropractic Education and Research (FCER) have developed a project that would do the same for chiropractic and ultimately benefit both organizations and all chiropractors.

The “Celebrity Chiro Project,” a collaboration between ACA and FCER, will be a subscription-based program that will provide professionally-produced posters depicting celebrity chiropractic patients and testimonials supporting their positive experiences with chiropractic care.  The DC subscriber will receive a new poster each month with a signed photo and quote from the grateful celebrity chiropractic patient.  A table-top display binder will hold the accumulating months’ posters.

But we need your help—and here’s how:  If you or one of your colleagues treats a high profile individual (not a politician or a local celebrity) we need you to contact them and ask if they are willing to participate in support of chiropractic education and research.  Only after you have received a positive response would FCER then need the contact information for follow-up.  FCER will not approach patients until they have agreed to the project.  When a minimum of 12 celebrities have agreed to participate, we will proceed with the Celebrity Chiro Project.

The goal of this project is to benefit the profession; support and promote chiropractic research and share the benefits of chiropractic care with the public.

Any questions and responses may be directed to FCER (800.622.6309; lplahn@fcer.org) or Dr. Mario Spoto, (610.269.7662 maspoto@aol.com).
