Letter of Intent


 

All grant applications must be preceded by an approved Letter of Intent.

Prior to submitting a research proposal to us, FCER requires a 5-10 page letter of intent which indicates:

  • The title of the project and names and degrees of principal investigators;

  • The literature background, its gaps and precisely how the proposal provides an essential step forward;

  • The methodology;

  • Timetable of proposed steps including submission of the first manuscript to a peer-reviewed journal; and

  • A budget with all items exceeding $1,000 itemized and justified.

Deadlines for grant submissions are every March 1 and October 1.
